A packed newsletter this month too. After an amazing February which saw two accordionists play at The Royal Festival Hall we have a packed Spring too. First up we have a Royal Academy of Music Accordion Department Concert on Monday 10th March, The Romano VIazzani Ensemble have just announced three new dates for May/June (Leeds, Cambridge and Harrow) which will form part of their 2025 UK tour. Don't miss them at a venue near you. In April we have accordion superstar Martynas Levickis taking a public accordion master class at the Royal Academy of Music. Ben de Souza has announced his Spring concerts last month. A few tickets remain for the remainder of Carismatico's 2025 tour with Karen Street on accordion playing tango. Karen Street is back with Karen Tweed with their Orkney-based accordion course in June 2025, so book now. Also in June is Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival which always includes accordion in its competition. Please support this festival as it's one of the few general arts festivals which do have accordion every year. Whether you are a soloist, duettist, play in an ensemble or an accordion orchestra, and whether you are a beginner or advanced, there will be a category that suits you. Lastly, Romano Viazzani is in cabaret with Joanna Strand and Becka Cooper at The Yard near Arlesford on 20th March. We'll see you again in April so do have a look at our CDs, Sheet music, books and several new used accordions that we have received in the last month!
