The Romano Viazzani Ensemble posted a lockdown video of Tango Italiano on social media one the tracks featured on their recent album London Tango whose opening words really suited the times, to thank their friends and musician colleagues in Italy for being the first to lead us through this pandemic with music. Music, that thing which is so underfunded and ignored by politicians (and one could say the same about many countries’ health services too) became the next most important thing in helping people get through the situation after the health service.

London Tango CD Launch – The Romano Viazzani Ensemble – The Pheasantry 15th March 2020 – The Romano Viazzani Ensemble have chosen The Pheasantry to be their first in a series of concerts launching their new album London Tango which takes Argentine Tango and adds a London twist. Romano Viazzani relaunched his new ensemble at The Pheasantry, almost exactly two years ago to the day, so where better to launch their much-anticipated new album.
We are happy to announce the return of Stefano Oggero from Beltrami Accordions, and now his very own company Liuteria Oggero in Stradella, will be over in the UK at the end of February 2020 and will be undertaking repairs and tuning work on accordions.
