It’s always exciting when an accordionist plays at an illustrious concert venue in London like the Wigmore Hall . It’s a sign that things are on the up not only for the artist but for the instrument too. Great, then to see Ryan Corbett, a BBC New Generation Artist perform there on Monday 10th June with a programme which will include Bach, Scarlatti, Mendelssohn, Trojan and Zolotariov. It is concerts like this one that have, in the last 25 years, elevated to accordion to the top concert platforms in the world. We want to keep it there so please support it, wholeheartedly.
