Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival 10th, 11th and 17th and 18th June 2017. Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival always includes an Accordion and Concertina Section as does Maidstone Music festival which, many accordionists like to participate in. Friedrich Lips- Lecture and Masterclass- Royal Academy of Music – 23rd & 24th February 2017 and Accordion Dept. Concert featuring Russian Bayan Music. The event, held over two days includes a Lecture on Russain Bayan Music given by Prof. Lips as well as an accordion department masterclass and concert. No tickets are required and the event is completely free.

Sunday Sessions present The Southern Cone Quintet – Sunday February 19th 2017. Anisa Arslanagić – violin, Claude Werner – clarinet/flute/arranger, James Kitchman – electric guitar, Iñigo Mikeleiz Berrade – accordion, Louis Thomas – double bass- Southern Cone Quintet takes its name from the geographical area of the same name, embracing the countries of Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. The Southern Cone has a rich and diverse musical tradition, with genres including Tango, Cueca, and Candombe, as well as indigenous ethnic forms such as Mapuche music. Southern Cone Quintet Lunchtime Concert – St James’s Church, Piccadilly, London W1J 0. Friday December 16th 13.10 – 14-00. Southern Cone Quintet perform their last concert of 2016 at the prestigious St James Piccadilly as part of the popular lunchtime concerts series. The Ensemble will be premiering new arrangements and compositions. Entry is free and open to all. With Iñigo Mikeleiz Berrade on accordion.
Divine Comedy 2017 Tour -British accordionist Ian Watson has been playing accordion with unique band Divine Comedy since the tour kicked off in October 2016. However, the tour continues in the new year. ZZ Music has had reports that its a fabulous concert and from an accordion viewpoint its great to see the accordion featuring in so much music of all descriptions the world of pop being no exception.
