RAM graduate Ben manages to continue his studies and concert career. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music last year, accordionist Ben de Souza is studying choral conducting at Cambridge this year.  He is managing to continue playing concerts and study his conducting simultaneously which is both impressive and very welcome to all those who want to see the accordion played across many musical genres.

The students really get to show how quickly they are able to pick up on the teacher’s ideas and it’s always inspiring for any attending teachers and students alike to see how much can be achieved within one master class with the RAM students. Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival – Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th, Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June 2019. This is one of two popular music festivals in the South East of England who include and actively encourage the participation of accordionists. Maidstone Music Festival was last November and now June see the return of neighbouring festival Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival in June 2019.
