From the Royal Academy of Music to the Queen Elizabeth Hall
Queen Elizabeth Hall – Sleeping Patterns – London Sinfonietta at 7.30pm on December 2nd 2022.
How lovely to see an accordionist who graduated from the Owen Murray’s accordion department of the Royal Academy of Music a few years back come back to the UK to perform with the London Sinfonietta. It’s a testament to Owen Murray’s work at the academy that there are 35 years-worth of accordionists out there able to do anything that is thrown at them. Rafal Luc was one of those many students. Now living back in his native Poland he is pursuing his career as a professional accordionist around the world. Always known for his incredible sensitivity as a player Rafal was also known for tackling some very progressive repertoire too as his album which combines accordion and computer will testify.
You can hear Rafal Luc at the Queen Elizabeth Hall performing in the Sleeping Patterns concert with the London Sinfonietta at 7.30pm on December 2nd 2022.
