The event, held over two days includes a Lecture on Russain Bayan Music given by Prof. Lips as well as an accordion department masterclass and concert. The Southern Cone has a rich and diverse musical tradition, with genres including Tango, Cueca, and Candombe, as well as indigenous ethnic forms such as Mapuche music. However, the tour continues in the new year. ZZ Music has had reports that its a fabulous concert and from an accordion viewpoint its great to see the accordion featuring in so much music of all descriptions the world of pop being no exception.
