Inger Murray – RIP

She helped many performers overcome their fears

ZZMusic are shocked and saddened at the recent passing of Inger Murray, the renowned psychologist, author of Get Rid Of Stage Fright And Performance Anxiety and wife of Royal Academy of Music accordion professor, Owen Murray.  Whilst she specialised in dealing with crime victims suffering post-traumatic stress, she helped so many musicians with her mental training for musicians both at the Royal Academy and outside of it and more recently through her book in helping them gain confidence on the concert platform..
