Owen Murray has recorded ‘Three British Accordion Concertos’  on a CD with the fabulous BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by none other than James MacMillan  and the Jonathan Dove concerto “Northern Lights”, which Owen commissioned was picked out on BBC Radio 3’s Record Review chosen by Flora Willson interviewed by Andrew McGregor. The other concertos are by Eddie McGuire and Gordon Jacob. It was on Saturday (April 4th). Here’s a link.
