There are a few classic models of accordion in the world which achieve almost a cult status. The Scandalli Super VI, the Settimio Soprani Artist VI,  the Dallapé Supermaestro, the Giulietti Supermodel, the Hohner Morino IV and V, the Hohner Gola, to name but a few. Amongst these the Galanti Super Dominator can certainly take it’s place with it’s curvy Art Deco styling and it’s beautiful woody single cassotto sound which has the perfect balance of roundness and edginess.,  A  very fine 41-key/120-bass Galanti accordion.  Built in the Italian town of Mondaino by this renowned manufacturer, this instrument has 4 sets of treble reeds (16’+8’+8’+4′) sets of treble reeds and 5 in the bass. It features high quality “a mano” reeds and has a mellow  American Swing tuning on the two 8 foot sets of reeds. Not only that but it has been completely refurbished and restored by Diego Riciuti of Castelfidardo over four years and has a brand new keyboard too and feels like a brand new accordion to play but with the benefit of having been “run-in”.  The tuning is also in good shape. Finished in an plain black 14  treble registers plus palm Master ensure all the possible reed combinations. The price may seem a little steep but you are practically getting a classic accordion that plays like new but with a powerful, played-in feel..
