Sunday Sessions present The Southern Cone Quintet – Sunday February 19th 2017. Anisa Arslanagić – violin, Claude Werner – clarinet/flute/arranger, James Kitchman – electric guitar, Iñigo Mikeleiz Berrade – accordion, Louis Thomas – double bass- Southern Cone Quintet takes its name from the geographical area of the same name, embracing the countries of Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. The Southern Cone has a rich and diverse musical tradition, with genres including Tango, Cueca, and Candombe, as well as indigenous ethnic forms such as Mapuche music. Southern Cone Quintet Lunchtime Concert – St James’s Church, Piccadilly, London W1J 0. Friday December 16th 13.10 – 14-00. Southern Cone Quintet perform their last concert of 2016 at the prestigious St James Piccadilly as part of the popular lunchtime concerts series. Divine Comedy 2017 Tour -British accordionist Ian Watson has been playing accordion with unique band Divine Comedy since the tour kicked off in October 2016. However, the tour continues in the new year. ZZ Music has had reports that its a fabulous concert and from an accordion viewpoint its great to see the accordion featuring in so much music of all descriptions the world of pop being no exception.

Joined by the wonderful Gabrielle Ducomble in the second set, singing french songs included music by Edith Piaff, Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Trenet and Richard Galliano
