UKAAT (United Kingdom Association of Accordion Teachers) are proud to announce their first workshop for accordion teachers. After an initial meeting over 2 years ago of 40 teachers from all over the UK those present were surveyed and asked what they would most like to explore as part of their own professional development as accordion teachers. This first workshop will try to cover a number of the most voted-for subjects in an all-day event at The Royal Academy of Music, London.

David Vaughan Quintet, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist David Vaughan adds Tom Hewins on double bass and tuba, and Jason Reeve on drums into the mix with Romano Viazzani on Accordion and Daniel Broncano on Clarinets at the OSO Arts Centre Barnes, London on the 6th November 2015.
The 20th November 2015 at Guildford Accordion Club at Ripley Village Hall will feature guest accordionist Romano Viazzani. He will play a range of accordion music from Classical to Jazz and lots between.
Corrado Rojac and Illaria Nardi have written a book on the music of Giuseppe Greggiati, a clergyman and musician who wrote not only original pieces for the accordion from 1839 onwards but also a “method” outlining how the instrument should be played.
