This is one of two popular and friendly music festivals in the South East of England who include and actively encourage the participation of accordionists. Maidstone Music Festival was last November and now June see the return of neighbouring festival Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival in June 2019. The Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival, started in 1951, is well known and popular with Adjudicators and competitors as friendly and enthusiastic, and draws entries from all over the South-east. Many past competitors have gone on to become successful professionals and some are now entering their pupils in the Festival, knowing the benefits and experience they can gain and the sheer enjoyment of performing in front of an audience. singing (including Choirs), Woodwind & Brass (including Orchestras), Strings and Accordions.
