The Royal Academy of Music kicks of the new year and the accordion department’s 40th anniversary year with a programme of chamber music with performances from students on the MA course as well as last September’s freshmen. The department has never been so full with no less than eight students studying accordion with Owen Murray, the accordion professor there.

A programme of chamber music pieces featuring classical accordion, including works by Sofia Gubaidulina,, Witold Lutosławski, Martin Lohse and Franz Doppler.

The concert is free but booking is required.
