Newbury – accordion hotspot
How lucky are Newbury Spring Festival-goers this year. They are featuring 3 concerts which include accordion and a tango trio with bandoneon. It’s always great to see the accordion in mainstream music festivals. All the more reason to support them. Show festival organisers that the accordion can draw an audience.
Ben De Souza with be playing in Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Eddie Hession will be playing with the Budapest Café Orchestra and Inigo Mikeliez- Barrade will be playing with his duo. The London Tango Trio with Martin Espindola on bandoneon will also be playing. The festival takes place between the 6th and 20th may 2023. Details below of each concert including accordions and further concert dates are available via the link.
