London’s top cabaret venues often play host to this marvellous cabaret double act but now Joanna Strand and Jacqui Tate will perform together in New York on 16th September 2015 at 54 Below.  Ms Strand has played New York as a soloist many times before of course and she will be backed by musicians Romano Viazzani on accordion, John Bailey on Piano, Jason Reeve on Drums and Steve Doyle on Double Bass.

Experience the sensational cabaret duo that has been taking Europe by storm as they make their 54 Below debut! With a host of credits bridging musical worlds, the versatile Joanna Strand and Jacqui Tate take songs from all genres and craft them into mesmerizing original jazz arrangements. Joanna and Jacqui share a variety of West End and touring credits, including The Phantom of the Opera, Avenue Q, Jekyll and Hyde, Evita, and My Fair Lady, as well as the Broadway transfers of Master Class and South Pacific.

Joanna Strand recently performed to full houses for three consecutive nights at The Crazy Coqs in London’s Piccadilly Circus with a different guest headlining on every night; her double act sidekick Jacqui Tate on the first night, accordionist Romano Viazzani on the second night and Opera and Theatre star Rodney Earl Clarke on the last night.
