People will remember Giancarlo Palena when he was studying accordion at the Royal Academy of Music back in the days when the UK was still part of the ERASMUS scheme.  His studies there were brief but successful and impactful so it is very nice to see him return to the UK despite all the hoops and setback musicians now have to jump through thanks to Brexit as if Covid wasn’t already enough. Bravo Giancarlo for making it back to the UK to delight us with your playing.
