Maurizio Pala & Daniel Teper Below the bellows – The Squeezy Cheesers

One of the most refreshing accordion albums of recent times!  It just makes you smile if not laugh out loud.  The fun Maurizio Pala and Daniel Teper must have had making this album really comes through in the music.  Don’t be fooled though, these two London-based accordionists are very able and hard-working professionals.  It takes a couple of very clever and talented musicians to create something that sounds so easy-going and humorous.  This album contains some of their own compositions (Dan Teper uses his alias Danny Fromajio) as well as humorous takes on some well-known music.  The quality of this recording and music belies its simple folder-style cover. Highly recommended!
