	The Royal Academy of Music accordion department really has been spoiling us recently by opening its doors to all so they can witness world class accordionists give master classes to the students studying there. This month is no exception when Mie Miki visits the RAM. This year has already seen Friedrich Lips, Corrado Rojac and Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi and entrance is absolutely free. ZZ music highly recommends these opportunities for accordion teachers and students alike. The RAM also have three final recitals coming up and a good audience really encourages the performers to play their best. We have a lovely Watkins Musette accordion just come in amongst our used instruments which is in excellent condition and is a dream to play. Milos Milivojevic is in full swing at the moment and has lots of concerts coming up, see below for details. Bert Santilly has kindly reviewed Cambridge Competitive Music Festival for us and with Sevenoaks Festival comin up on June 11th it's encouraging to see so many festivals including the accordion amongst there instrumental line-ups. Craven Accordion Orchestra is performing at Clapham Village North Yorkshire this month too. See you next month.

Royal Academy of Music Final Recital Performances – June 8th 2017 at 17.45 – 21.30 – Don’t miss the opportunity to hear the RAM accordion students perform in their final recitals and see the culmination of their studies as they finish their respective courses. Each performance is 50 – minutes with a short break between performances and will combine solo and chamber music works.
