 June looks like it's going to be even busier than May in the accordion world. Don't miss the wonderful Joanna Strand at the Pizza Express Jazz Club on June 2nd with Romano Viazzani on Accordion, John Bailey on Piano, Nick Pini on Bass and Jason Reeve on Drums. They will also be back later in the month (21st-23rd June) at the Crazy Coqs Cabaret, Piccadilly Circus this time with Joanna Strand joined by her Cabaret partner the wonderful Jacqui Tate. Singer-songwriter David Vaughan will be with his trio at St.Olave's Church in the City of London for a free lunchtime concert on the 22nd June. David writes all his own songs and arranges beautifully for accordion and the other instruments in his ensemble. June 11th sees the first outing of Romano Viazzani's new Tango Ensemble at the London Encounter, See below for more details. Some final recitals coming up at the Royal Academy of Music this month too as well as a Wigmore Hall Recital. We have a new book available too - The latest in the series by Rob Howard "Accordion Anthology" launches this month!
