UKAAT - Accordion teachers' workshop - Royal Academy of Music - 7th February 2016
UKAAT (United Kingdom Association of Accordion Teachers) are proud to announce their first workshop for accordion teachers. After an initial meeting over 2 years ago of 40 teachers from all over the UK those present were surveyed and asked what they would most like to explore as part of their own professional development as accordion teachers. This first workshop will try to cover a number of the most voted-for subjects in an all-day event at The Royal Academy of Music, London.

Accordions Together - Eastbourne Friday 12th to Monday 15th February 2016
What better way to spend for an accordion-lover to spend St Valentine’s weekend listening to the instrument they love! No doubt some accordion widows and widowers would have something to say about that statement. Nevertheless, this weekend promises to to enthral even the unconverted. New Book Release: La Fisarmonica di Giuseppe Greggiati - Original Romantic Repertoire for Accordion
Corrado Rojac and Illaria Nardi have written a book on the music of Giuseppe Greggiati, a clergyman and musician who wrote not only original pieces for the accordion from 1839 onwards but also a “method” outlining how the instrument should be played.
