Owen Murray has achieved so much in the accordion world and most of all in the UK where in 1986 he started teaching at the Royal Academy of Music. He has premiered works by Harrison Birtwhistle, Poul Rouders amongst many oithers and has produced the finest crop of young classical accordionists the UK has ever known. His CD, On the wings of the wind contains many pieces which have become classical and contempoorary accordion standards.
