Accordions at Maidstone Music Festival – Maidstone Music Festival is a beautifully-run Music festival in the heart of Kent and one of the few that includes an accordion and related instruments category. Cantata for the 20th Anniversary of the October Revolution – Royal Academy accordion students perform with the Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy, St David’s Hall, Cardiff on Friday 18th May and again at the Royal Festival Hall, London on Sunday 20th May both at 7.30 pm.
“The Spirit of Tango” featuring Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi on Friday 4 May at 7.30 pm in the Duke’s Hall, RAM. The internationally renowned Bandoneon virtuoso performs alongside Academy string, piano and accordion students with a programme inspired by tango music.
